In Monza, along Via Cesare Battisti, the former Scotti Felt Factory has been completely revitalized into a luxury residential complex. However, preserving the site's industrial memory posed a unique technical challenge: safeguarding the soaring historic chimney stack.
To protect it without compromising its original masonry, we designed a daring support structure capable of bracing the tower without any direct anchoring. A feat of "conservation engineering" that ensured the structural consolidation of the chimney and now, thanks to the new external framework, provides a unique vertical training ground for the Fire Brigade.
